Hi - I'm Chris and I live in Stroud, Glos. We've just bought ourselves a motorhome and have started to enjoy the time away. Not able to do long stays at the moment because of commitments but manage a long weekend as often as we can. Can't wait for next summer so we can begin again.

Well, now we can see who gets up early!

Welcome to the fun from a retiree, you'll hear from a few more of us later and as Terry says, carry on through the winter, it's cheaper to warm the motorhome than the house over a weekend.

Hi and welcome from a sunny but very very windy West Yorks . We only got our motorhome a year ago , and have mostly used it for weekends but have had a couple of weeks here and there too.
Were away Xmas over New year in it too.
Cant wait till next year though , as we plan on seeing more of our lovely countryside.
We plan on doing a line around the coast of Britain , like the program on TV. ( Coast , love that program:Smile:)
Not all at once but a bit here and there , weve already started.
Might get it finished before we retire:ROFLMAO:

a big welcome from us also

Hi, and welcome to the tribe... well it is like a tribe in some ways.... use it in the winter, lots of places to go at weekends.

The new weekend show season will soon be with us and we hope to see you at one of the shows where other motor home fun members will be.

Hi and welcome :thumb:
We try and get away as often as pos but usually that will be just a one nighter ( leave Sat am and back home Sunday pm )
But it makes no odds .. as long as we are 'away' that is good enough::bigsmile:

Hi There

Hi Chris and welcome!

I'm new too..

I am not yet a motorhome owner, but have spent a lot of time camping and am considering making the big step away from those tent pegs!

I go camping about 4 times a year and tend to head down to Devon to a place called Spamalot in Devon

anyone else been here? I love the peace and quiet here!
