Sadly, my employer (thats me again) doesn't give me days off for sick-of-work! Mr Swift down in Hull also wants his motorhome back!

Our last whole day - drive from Barnard Castle to Scarborough, via Sutton Bank, 25% incline . . . The Escape could have done it in third, but I did it in 2nd for the second half, so as not to get too far in front of the cars behind me!

Spend £2.50 on the machine at Scarborough, had slightly mankey fish and chips, but brewed our own cups of tea back at the m/h!

Hi Chris,

Hope you enjoyed your motorhome trip. As mentioned in a previous post, you should give wild camping a go. We spent 2 weeks wild camping around the Western Isles of Scotland earlier this year. Its one of the things that is totally different to caravanning.

Sad day today - homeward bound from Scarborough to Hull to return the motorhome, then from Hull to Felixstowe, to return ourselves . . . I could do with another month or two . . !

But I've got two shows to make for Friday, and then just 12 more before I can have a holiday - one day off for Christmas!!
