Just bought a remoska after reading such good posts on many campervan forums. We do not have an oven and after spending a month in France last year we got so fed up of BBQ's I was determined to do something different this year.
Now all I need are some recipies - any ideas??

Hi

We have had our remoska for 5 years and would not be without it. Lakeland do a cookbook for it. Use it the same as a small oven. It will cook anything.

you don't need recipes Jaygee....

anything you put in the oven on in a saucepan at home you can put in a ramoska.

cook a full English all at once to a joint of beef with roasties.....

omelette's to pizza

baked beans to Irish stew.

does it all :thumb:

cant recommend the toasties though....they end up as Ryvita...

Have only used it twice so far and the second time it kept tripping the electricity (at home) so it may be going back anyway!!! May think about the QVC one instead as it's a lot cheaper and looks to be a more reasonable size.

We bought the QVC (Czech Cooker) one ready for new season, tested it and cooked a wicked sausage casserole in it. Well pleased, different to Remoska as has thermostatat in the handle.
Comes with 2 stands one for pan and one for lid.

.
We've had 2 which kept tripping electrics even in the home. Both collected by Lakeland, a known fault with some. They say place the lid in the airing cupboard which sometimes cures it... No arguments with Lakeland though.
