Hello and welcome from us too.
On your other post you asked if anyone new of a vw place near wolverhampton ? I dont know how far Birmingham is to you but there are a couple of brothers who renovate split screen and the other type vw's there .
I would recommend them to anyone. (Although i have never had any work done by them.) They are so dedicated , and i have seen the work they do.
We had some re upholstery work done at the place next door to them. (Car-e-van.)

If ever we wanted a VW i would buy from them. They get a lot from abroad , so they are vertually rust fee. They then strip them out , respray , and replace what they can of the original fixtures. They do all the engine work and send re-upholstery work to a specialist place they know too.
2 lovely , sincere , friendly , dedicated men . Totally devoted to VW campervans . The motors they renovate end up fantastic. Top class , superb .
Ralph and i spent quite a lot of time talking to them , and even more looking around vans they were working on , whilst waiting for various things to be sorted out next door.
I will see if Ralph can dig out the card they gave us tonight. Just in case we ever downsized to one.
Though i think they are more suitable to the younger end of motorhomers. Me being 5 foot 11 without my heels would end up with a bad back , thats for sure ::bigsmile: Hes working away at the moment.

Enjoy your new toy.

Thanks for warm welcome

Thanks every one for a warm welcome.
Thanks to bev for your reply. Those 2 brothers
In Birmingham sound just what I need but
I wonder if they take on work on other peoples
Vans or they only do renovate their own. If you could find out
Their details We would be very grateful.
