hi all just back from a trekking trip to peru, and had a great time so not been looking in for a few wks.....but its nice to be back and the van is still here and intact lol. hope to be able to make some meets when I get sorted out. there always seems to be something that gets in the way of committing to a meet , but must make more effort. couple of pics . take care andy

Back packing good god man do you think you are 21 you should be sitting in a rocking chair sipping horlicks "I could not find a sarcasm smily" so this will have to do.

ha ha, not that silly any more.. it was a lodge to lodge trek and the lodges were good. comfortable bed outdoor hot tubs good food, and only had to carry a day back pack, everything else went on horse back.....so hope you get the idea now.lol
the only downside was the altitude which took a few days to get used too.
a few days in lima to chill at the beginning and end of trek, in temp in high twenties completed a great holiday. ta andy. oh and just to make you jealous another pic lol.

dog - sheer luxury of a trek!

we did the Inca Trail about 10 years ago after 8 days of mountain biking so were well acclimatised by the time we hiked it - thankfully no snow!! the closest we got to a jacuzzi like in that pic was the thermal baths in Aqua Caliente after we'd come down from Macchu Picchu
