Can anyone recommend a campsite close to the sea and the Jurassic coast? hook up showers essential please.

hi you could try charmouth , west bay (bridport) or lyme regis there are quite a few to choose from Freshwater Beach at Burton Bradstock near Bridport has all you need including own beach enjoy

Hi,

Went to Seadown camp site in Charmouth,when i was with my ex wife and can thoroughly recommend it,its about 150 yards from the beach and you can walk to Lyme Regis when the tide is low,saw many fossil hunters.They have discounts for over 50`s,its also very clean with an excellent toilet block,which has the best showers i`ve encountered on a camp site.


Its about a 5 minute walk to the charming village of Charmouth,which has some fine pubs and restaurants,the surrounding countryside is beautiful.
