We're off to Annecy in southern France in September. Trying out our new (well, new to us) Burstner motorhome. Would love to get route info from Dieppe regarding aires along the way preferably a bit scenic and possibly on canals or near flat cycling routes. My first post (is this the right place for it?)

calling then all "JUNE" makes them look like duplicate posts and people who have read one may not look at the rest

Hi and Welcome , We came back from annecy (used the la balme de sillingy aire, nice lake side aire with eatery / pub, as the annecy aire was full ) via Pesmes aire free (pleasant aire in middle of nice village basic but ok about 124 miles) then Giffaumont champaubert nautique aire drove around lake west side to large car park /aire free by nature reserve, 138 miles. then used municipal c/site at vadencourt (just west of guise) 9.50 euros basic site with showers etc 130 miles. then onto Argues aire 2 euros very nice next door to campsite 114 miles, which is 31 miles south of dunkirk on the way picked up booze etc from hypermarket. hope this helps. Check on camp site and aire closing dates for Annecy.

We tried to stay on a lovely aire by the lake last september and were moved on by the cops. A lot of the campsites in the ACSI book also closed directly following the end of August
