Anyone that has ever set up and run a rally will know how frustrating it can be when those that have booked on do not turn up or let you know they are not coming
Those of us that have organised rallies/meets, know how much time and effort go into setting up and running rallies
In many cases there has been a reserve list of those wanting to attend a rally that is fully booked up and then there is a no show rate of up to 50%, especially on rallies where there is no 'up front' payment asked for.
Motorhomefun has to be the best deal around, all of the meets and rallies are organised by the members for no personal payment or gain, the rally fees members pay are what the rally site charges, with no additional costs for anything other than additional events that may be organised by whoever puts the rally on, that you can chose to be part of or not.
It is understandable that between booking on and the rally date that circumstances can change and there are reasons for not attending.
A common reason is, having booked on a particular meet early in the season, it then gets forgotten about or members book on for another meet

Knowing how meets turn out you could stay 2nd and not make main list or by 2mor you could be well on main list.
Peoples circumstances change all the time so just watch for changes.

I’m sure we can accommodate another 3, with regards to Awnings it’s kind of windy up there but as long as they can be secured we have no problem. Water weights are best for this, there are taps on the hard stand. An annual event sounds like a great idea J.

We were thinking of doing a special breakfast offer. Do you think that would be of interest?

We also have a special Bun and Boat Trip happening on the 1st August where you can get a burger and boat rotation for £10 per person, we could offer the same £1 discount on this for your group if that would be of interest.

Hi Sandra.....
I'm not sure if it's worth me giving you a sort of heads up....my Dad has been re-admitted into hospital this afternoon. His very recent last stay lasted a month.
After your meet we are due in Bristol for the Balloon Rally on the Thurs & Les is booked on a flight so we are really desperate to make that one. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable doing both meets.....
Can you give me an idea of when I would really have to confirm with you by please? Obviously we don't want to pass on your meet, dad could be home by then but I don't want to deprive someone on the reserve list.

Aaw have you bought another dog.
No dogs allowed on the boat im afraid. The boat ride is less than an hour though. If you cant leave her then I will look after her as Ive been on the boat anyway.
