Hi @irnbru , my daughter and I are heading up to Scotland for the first two weeks of August this year... our first big trip away in Charlotte. I didn't book on the rally as there's no way we could be there on the Friday night. We may well be in the area by Saturday afternoon or on Sunday and I wondered if it would be all right for my daughter and I to come along to the wheel to meet up with some of you for the first time please? I've had so much help and encouragement from FUN and would really like to put some faces to the names.

Hi Colin. You are more than welcome to come and say hi but unfortunately the meet is full for the weekend though there might be a few or some leaving on the Sunday in which case you would then be able to park up and join us for Sun evening if you are in the area anyway. Just watch the thread.

It wouldnt' be a scottish meet without a scottish theme....so after chatting to a dozen or so folk attending there will now be a Sat night themed night to ceilidh dancing. Weather permitting of course, so if your up for a laugh and are fit enough then bring shoes fit to dance in or bring a camera to take some photos.

the publicity , interest shown seems great.. lets hope its a sign they are interested in allowing meets of this sort on a regular basis , and possibly allowing even more to attend... im assuming this is a new thing for them and its great that Fun is leading the way... good publicity as long as we all behave LOL..

the ceilidh, is a great idea...what could be more appropriate for a Scottish meet...even if some of us make make hard work of it...
