Just got in from work and came online to see this sad news.
I couldn't bear to read through all 7 pages as I know they would all be saying the same as me and I would end up unable to find the keyboard buttons. Never met Eddie in the real world but felt I knew him and hence I will miss his humour and his knowledge and his willingness to share that knowledge.
My condolences to his family. I hope it is a comfort to know how well he was thought of here.

Very sad news - the only good (?) thing is that he didn't have a long drawn-out time in hospital etc. Horribly sudden but better than lingering in pain.

He was one of the good guys, and I'll miss him.

Well this is a shock. Can't quite believe it. We were all hoping that he would come through this & eventually be back doing what he enjoyed. Only knew him through the forum but he gave good advice & said it like it was. His info on importing will be missed that's for sure.

Shocked and saddened. Like so many, we only knew him through the forum but he was helpful, witty and never nasty. Especially enjoyed his contributions to ianthebuilder's threads, his constant quest to persuade people to import their motorhomes and his love of the Italian lakes.

What horrible news - I have just got back from a funeral, 2nd this year and was thinking that's enough!

I didn't know Eddie but, like many on here, had locked horns with him once or twice and always enjoyed his dry humour. A 21st century emotion - feeling grief for someone that you have never met but you feel that you know them well from communications online.

Very sad news, my thoughts are with his family. I was using him as an example of one of the most outspoken but also most helpful members of motorhomefun whilst trying to explain the benefits of Motorhomefun to some fellow travellers in Germany yesterday.

Such sad news, although most of us never met him, he was larger than life, so helpful and good fun.
Judge has had such wonderful travels and adventures with his family, I can only hope they find some comfort from their memories.
