Seen at most rallies and meets over the last two years but Stratford was JJ's last UK rally as he is retiring (sort of) to Portugal. I for one will miss seeing the "stealth van" which was normally first on and last off the rally field with a photo or two to prove it :Smile:

JJ, Whilst you will still maintain your cyber presence on the forums and chat room, and while many of us will pop in and see you in Portugal; rallys won't be quite the same without you. You will be sorely missed on the rally field by me and I'm sure many others.

Best wishes for the trip back down to Portugal and this new chapter in your life:thumb:

Hi JJ,

Sad to hear you wont be with us in person anymore, take plenty of Fray Bentos pies with you and im sure any funsters coming your way will bring you more supplies.

JJ have a wonderful retirement and enjoy every moment of it as you have earned it ....as others previously said it won't be the same here without you at a meet/rally

Sorry we had to leave before you were about yesterday so didn't have my last hugz but hopefully one day we will be in your area and will call in and help with that strimming etc as promised

It will not be the same on the sites without you.. no one to wake up on arrival, or to make the day brighter as you have done since we have known you.

Hope you will get back over sometime .. you have to come back to get the pies.. not sold in Portugal are they

I have worked out JJ's plan - I think - he is going to open a camp site in Portugal and the entry fee is a FB pie - payment for fees is either by tins of peas and more FB pies or labour maintaining the site to a very high standard. He has already instructed Dellwood to bring out a chainsaw - told me to only arrive if I bring my secateurs

I think the ultimate plan is to plant a vineyard so as to save going down the shops for a bottle to go with the FB pies

Oh ye of little faith Roger - I can make an excellent wine - trouble is I keep on checking to ensure it is perfect - weeellllll once you have opened the bottle to check its good you cannot seal it up again can you
