For the OP.

To the best of my knowledge, all machines from the same manufacturer take the same Jeton.

There is very little if any consistancy amongst Aires as to the manufacture of the Bourne.

Personally, when ever we need to buy Jeton, we buy two, and keep one in reserve, and we also keep 2/3 €2 pieces with them as well. We are in the fortunate position of not having to be to concerned about the odd €2 here and there and would sooner have them available as and when they're needed.

Thank you Malcolm, that is exactly what I have been trying to establish.
I didn't want to buy several different sorts of jetton and never be able to use them unless I returned to the original aire.
Same here. Whenever I need to buy one I always get a spare or two to add to the collection.

You don't always want to search for somewhere selling jettons in a strange town and pouring rain.
