As you will no doubt be very busy after Christmas and New year, I have chosen Animal Farm for this month's book. It's quite a short book and a favorite of mine. Everyone who reads this can match the characters with people in real life. hope you enjoy it

When we stopped off at Taunton Deane Services today they had Animal Farm on the shelves in Smiths. I so very nearly bought it for the Book Club read (along with Catcher in the Rye, On the Road, and Catch 22 - Smiths and I seemed to be in a nostalgic mood) but then I resisted because I really want to experience this as an audio book, that will be something new for me.

It also saved me thirtyfive quid, which I can now save to spend on fuel when I get my van
