I read these threads - they make me sad and I shed tears for the owners BUT if the poetry is to be believed there's going to be a dozen dogs rushing to meet Derek when he arrives in heaven.

Oh yes, my daughters whippet/weasel cross passed away a few months ago, and I am sure that by the time Barney got there, she had already pinched his bed.
