:cry:The lower bracket that hold holds and controls the movement has lost the vetical roller bearing so it will not stay in its channel and springs free jamming the door. As we are due to go away for 5 days tomorrow has anybody got any ideas for a temp fix. a new bracket is not available in time.

Only suggestion I have is keep the door shut, once you have shut it, and use another door for the few days you're away, assuming this is possible.

Problem sorted

Thanks for the reply.
I managed to get the machineshop at work to put a new roller bearing in the old casing, fitted the bracket back to the van and the problem is fixed.::bigsmile:

Why dont you get the machine shop at work to fit a new bearing in the old casing, Fit the bracket back on the van then the job will be fixed:thumb:
