I live in the land of the transhumance ...for those of you not familiar with this it is where the cattle are driven up into the mountains for the summer , and live wild there for as long as the grass grows ; times were the small farmers lived there as well and made cheese to sell , but those days are past ...they just drive up and check on them ; the fields in the village are used for haymaking for the winter feed
and today's the day ! as you can see , the calves no longer walk , speeds the job up
