Italy in a 5th Wheeler??? (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

We don't have one yet (currently full-timing in a Burstner Elegance 821i) but are seriously thinking about it. We are wintering in Southern Spain / Portugal this year but due back in the UK around Easter and planning to look more closely at 5th Wheelers. However, we hope to tour Italy / Tuscany next winter and wondered if anyone has experience of this in a 5th Wheeler? i.e. is it do-able? Look forward to hearing back from some folks that have done it before we commit.

I don't have one but have seen a few travelling through Italy. You would need to choose your sites carefully, as from our experience with a tag axle motorhomes, sites that offer "large pitches" can mean anything from a night in the coach parking area on site to a night on the motorhome service point!

Google earth is a great help.
