We are looking to meet friends from down south over the Easter weekend. We thought of the lake district, halfway sort of. Can anyone recommend any sites that are walking distance to pubs, bear in mind walking may be impaired on return. Both units are members of cc and c&cc, at least for a year. We also have a lovely border collie that wants to come with us.

Stayed here a few weeks ago in Glenridding on Lake Ullswater , lovely little site in idyllic surroundings and a 5 minute walk to The Travellers Rest , entrance may be a bit tight for bigger vans though :thumb:
