A friend of ours wants to buy a motorhome. It is 2012 A/trial Tracker. It has 19.00 miles on the clock. And they want just under £20.000. For it. But they want him to go through a company called SDE-ltd .world. They want him to send the money to them and they will send him the van for a trial. If he is not happy he sends van back and he gets his money back from the company. Any one heard of this.??.

SDE Ltd (Safe Delivery Europe) appear to be a legitimate company, but have this warning on their web site:

FRAUD WARNING:
Some of our clients complained about people using our company name and website and requesting money sent via Western Union or Money Gram.

Please be aware of this fraud attempt. We don't process payments via Western Union or Money Gram.

We only process payments using payment agents bank account transfer.

If you have received an email requesting other forms of payment besides ours please contact us immediately

I saw a motorhome that was just what we wanted,same story!money back guarantee.Even supplied reg nos to HPI it.Of course it would have come back clear as it wasn't stolen!But the mileage rang a bell so I trawled back throughMMM and found the same vehicle for sale at a dealers for a lot more money.I rang them and they said that the vehicle had been sold but was still there having it'sPDI checkover.I told them that it was being advertised on Ebay.When they had a look the supposed vendor had lifted all the photo's and details of the Dealers website.I contacted the Police who said that they had just had a couple who had paid for a Mercedes in a similar scam.No money back No car!!If it's too good to be true !!

I have a simple rule when buying a vehicle. I always collect from them and if the address on the V5 doesn't match I don't buy.
I do a money transfer direct to their bank account only once I have test driven and have the keys in my hand.

I bent one of these rules once and paid for it....
