I have had a caravan for over 5 years on a seasonal pitch, and I am now considering obtaining a motor home. I wish to use the motor home off grid, in order to save cash, and around the Bacup area, in Lancashire at least two nights a week. My friends think it would not be safe to park on the side of the road; however I cannot seem many other options. Do you think, with your experience, I would be safe?

Edit: I realise that some people may not know the area…the area consists of small villages joined together (mainly) by one trunk road.

I can only speak from experience of 'wilding' in cities abroad recently, my best tactic was to find roads where locals park their caravans/MH's and find an overnight space amongst them.....:thumb:
