Is Fords euro assistant cover as good as Ins. Co. Cover (1 Viewer)

Just buying new MH which has Ford engine and wondered if Ford assist euro breakdown cover is as good as euro cover from an insurance company? Can't work out if the Ford cover is any different, only asking because if it is the same then I can save £58.00 on the first years insurance payment.
Anyone with experience on this would be very helpful.

We also have this & don't know how good it is but covered for any vehicle on our car recovery anyway so no saving for us. While under Ford warranty it does make sense to have it recovered by their agent to a Ford garage so think it would be our first choice for the motorhome. Even out of warranty if you have servicing done by Ford this European recovery is included even if you negotiate the cost of servicing down

I agree with you wombles having it looked at by their agents abroad seems to be sensible, so I will save the £58 on insurance and hope not to break down in the MH s first year.
