We're thinking of going to Ireland at Easter with two dogs. Are the dogs allowed out of the van during the crossing and are their passports needed?

cant help with the ferries and dogs but i would think, as ireland is part of the british isles, you shouldnt need a pet passport.

Evening a few years ago when we went dogs had to stay in the van and you were not allowed down to see them on the journey also depend on the type of dog you have they we have to be muzzled any on dangerous breed list I have a staffy and he got to be muzzled shame but that there law so we will not be going back :Eeek:
