I am about to get rid of my iphone and I am Ok sync the address book, diary etc, but is there an easy free way of exporting the SMS messages to a laptop?

Is there a way of exporting the address book/calender into another file format, so that I can import into another phone?

its long winded but turn the texts into e mails
and send them to yourself

not sure about contacts though i havent found a way
to copy to the sim but i can copy from the sim to phone

dont forget if its a i phone 4 the sim is a cut down
i have succesfuy cut a sim down to fit an i phone/i pad
and then reinserted the sim back into the large sim frame
and put it into a nokia to use the free call

i used a sim cutter off e bay £2-3 and itcame
with two mini to standard adaptors :thumb::thumb:
