Hi , thinking of fitting an inverter to our motorhome but not sure what to fit !!
Seen "pure sine wave" and "soft start" advertised both have a remote start switch (cable with on/off)
Any advise re benefits of either would be much appreciated.

BTW we have a 140 solar panel and 2 120 amp batteries fitted

It depends what you want to use from it !!
We only have a 300watt one for the toothbrush, hand vac etc..

Pure will be needed if you are wanting to use things with an electronic control like most hair straighteners. I started off with one for the wifes straighteners but then it became the hairdryer too so decided to go the whole hog and fitted a 2000w unit with a remote switch from Sunshine Solar and wired it with Andy Techno's changeover relay to power the sockets.
For using a few minutes each day it does not kill the batteries but I do have 400ah total to use.
