Inverter running small device (1 Viewer)

Right i now have a 600/1200 watt inverter hard wired into the RV.

Now I might want to power my pace box from it.

I also have an 150/300 watt one that fits into cigar lighter.

Now does a small inverter drain less off of the batteries than a big one doing the same job?
