I got my 1987 Hymer fridge running again yesterday after removing the bottom outside grill and cleaning out out the burner, chimney and (flimsy looking) jet.
The (push the red button) sparking system was and still is a bit irratic and it is worrying me as my trip to the Algarve is coming up and I'll need the fridge to work on gas.
Sometimes it sparks but more often it doesn't. Does anyone have any tips or will I have to replace the igniter?
Is it possible to get to get a spare "sparker" and lead for this ancient fridge? It says it is a RM 30 A fridge...
Thanks...
