Hi, I have a Hymer B584 and I have a problem with the 2x 12v interior spotlights. They keep blowing the fuse on the electrobloc 99. I have checked for a short circuit and cannot find one. I have now taken the lights off but the fuse keeps blowing. Could this circuit be linked to hob ignition or kitchen light, any suggestions please?

I have a B584. I think the cab lights are on the same circuit as the ones on the NS of the van - in my case one above the drop-down bed, one above the NS table, the wardrobe light, both bathroom lights, and IIRC the kitchen lights & fan. If the fuse blows only when you switch on a cab light then the fault is within that light. If it blows whether the cab lights are on or off then the fault is elsewhere on the same circuit. Make sure all the lights on the circuit are off (inc. the wardrobe) then switch them on one by one.

Hi, Thanks for that. It is looking like the short could be the ignition on the hob.
