Going through the process of uprating my van and discovered that Fiat no longer approve the fitting of 225 x 70 R15 tyres to vehicles with the low frame Al-Ko chassis, you have to get confirmation from the converter.

Wasn't a problem I contacted Hymer & they emailed a PDF of the relevant section of the Type Approval document which listed the 225 tyres on my van.

So I have ordered 5 Hankook RA10 All Season tyres, went for the Hankook's as they have had very good reviews in Promobil magazine they outperform more expensive brands. £74 each from Openo will cost another tenner a wheel to get them swapped over.

Slightly OT, but I had to smile this afternoon while I was unloading the van. Mine is a Fiat Ducato Maxi PVC on 225/75 R16. A neighbour who lives round the corner came & parked behind me. She has one of those new tiny Fiats - the modern day version of the Fiat 500.

I swear the tyres on that little roller skate were wider than on the van.
