Now that I am a proud owner of a toad (smart car ,pick it up sat) do I tell the car insurers that it will be towed or do I tell the mh insurer that I am now going to tow a car and in the event of an accident while towing the car which insurer would I claim off.i hope that makes sense . Thanks

Hi Howard we had a similar query a few years back ,we had two different ins cos. so we told the motorhome insurance co. we were pulling a toad they said no probs it will be classed as a trailer and 3rd party cover only,and then we told the car ins. co.and they said the same . Its a definite minefield if you are not asking the right questions and getting the correct cover in place .
