Planning to spend most of our trip this summer in Slovenia and Croatia, but really fancied getting down to Albania for the last week. Currently insured with zurich (using coast as the broker) and paying around £215. They seem to cover Albania but not the other two, which means can't physically get there without ferries. Caravanguard cover all 3 but are £550!!! Plus green card ... Makes it a v expensive week, before even adding penalties for cancelling current policy.
Has anyone any other insurance companies they could recommend or any top tips. Otherwise we may just have to stop at Dubrovnik. Ive had some helpful advice getting to Dubrovnik without needing to drive through Bosnia (short ferry from Ploce) although might still fancy exploring a little of Bosnia if time allows ...
By the way, Britannia rescue cover all those countries on my usual policy so at least no worries if we break down ..
Thanks ...
