Second time around.
I had a quote from Comfort last week and several people told me how good their breakdown cover was, but I've had a quote from Safeguard today, which was £100 cheaper. Can anyone tell me what their experience has been with the European breakdown cover offered by this company?
Cheers, John

john.. been with safeguards for 10 years..
Had 1 van smashed up by joyriders, insurance sorted it all out. no issues except for a long wait on parts but that was Autotrails fault.
Had to use breakdown twice, once in Spain and one in Germany..
Both times all sorted out with no issues....

I find then always the best for me but maybe the all in pakage does not suit everyone.. Assume you have sorted any issues regarding breakdown and older vans..

Thanks

Hi Steve, Thanks for that. I checked on the age issue and both Safeguard and Comfort will cover older vehicles up to 20 feet. There is a limit on one trip of 90 days, but then you can go out again a week later and start another 90 days. This isn't likely to be a problem for us as we're unlikely to be away for more than a month at a time unless we decide to head south for Winter.
Cheers, John
