    At last a useful app for the iPhone!

    Do you know though if it has to be online to work or is it stand alone. My concern would be abroad (when you need it) if its online all the time will it not run up a huge bill.

    If its off line then brilliant.

    Use Wi-Fi Finder to locate Free Wi-Fi near you or your destination to aid with use

    My Sony PRS 650 Ereader (NOT a Kindle!!!) Has translation built in for German, French, Spanish, Italian and Dutch that is to and from English :thumb: Jane :Smile:

    Got quite a few of these on my android phone and the one I like especially is the translater one.
    I am welsh but only understand a little of the language and this one I have translates to welsh,as well as the usual languages so it will be ideal when travelling abroad as long as I have the data allowance of course thats all you have to do is photograph the word if it is a sign or you can type it in and it translates the meaning for you :thumb:
