Now I can see a couple of problems with this even at first glance (lack of interior storage and inability to move from cab to habitation area without getting out), and no doubt you will all find many more.

However, I can't help but like it! :thumb:

It's got the flexibility of a fifth wheel, the all-in-one drivability of a motorhome and the retro styling of a gypsy caravan. And you can even use it as a summer house, garden office or guest accommodation at home!

This site gives some good info: http://squob.com/motorhomes/tonke-campers-old-is-new-again/

And here's Tonke's own site, but it looks a bit unfinished: http://www.tonkecampers.nl/en/travel

an ideal bit of kit. i often think of making a box to fit my fifth wheel would make a smaller demount for use here in uk. have seen a few in spain, and vipex trailers do something similar. google vipex . they have a cats protection league demount on a mini artic .
great bit of kit . think this is away forward for many . having had a couple of suntrecker demounts in the past i love out of the normal box vehicles. this one is colourful and i bet it works well.

One of the best things have seen in years. Love the idea of being able to use it as an office/studio/guest room. It oozes quality, typically Dutch.
