I am being driven to distraction by issues I have logging in.
I log in and get Welcome Mr Colpot....then it goes back to log in.
I do it again and I get Home page and click on a Thread and I get a message saying I am not logged on (even though the box in the top right corners says
    Welcome, Mr Colpot.
You last visited: Today at 20:14 Private Messages: Unread 0, Total 17.

Sometimes I click on New Posts and I get - This Forum needs you to wait 20 secs between searches please wait 9 secs and try again......I wait and then get the same message.

This is the only Forum I have this trouble with - all the others work ok.
Before I give up coming here (which would be my loss) does anyone have any ideas what can be making this happen?

When you log in, tick the 'remember me' box

Dont double click on new posts, it is to stop people trying to flood the site.

Try removing all cookies. That may help.

Thanks for the replies, my PC remembers me, I single click new posts and have cleared cookies. Have now loaded Firefox and it seems to be working ok now.
It must be something in the IE9 settings but I have tried everything I can think of. Will just use Firefox instead as I need my daily fix of fun!

Same here....somehow got IE7 on my windows 7 lappy (allegedly not compatible but worked) then had to 'hard restore' lappy and lost it.

IE9 next, but waste of time so downloaded firefox..couldnt get on with it so downloaded chrome and never looked back :thumb:
