Hymer water pump (1 Viewer)

Hi.

Here is a beginner's question. I have just sterilised my water tank and then drained it in readiness for our first hymer holiday . However, now the waterpump does not draw water through the taps. It still makes the same humming noise so power is getting to it - but no water coming through. It is a 1992 544. Any ideas for fixes would be really helpful.

probably air in the system after the drain. open all your taps, and play with them start at the bathroom end works on mine.:thumb:

That brilliant. Just nipped out and tried your suggestion and with a bit of joggling the water pump started doing its job again

You mention jiggling the pump.
Mine used to regularly detatch itself where the tube connects to the hose. Then I'd get loads of air and go through Haganaps procedure. If you get it re-occuring, check to make sure the pump is securely attached to the hose.
