    Hello All,
Can anyone tell me whether the headlights on my Exsis come under the Fiat or the Hymer warrant ?
Any help would be gratefully received and thanks to all replies in advance as I'm sure there will be plenty.
    Alan

Yes that was my thoughts at first but then thinking that it's built on a shroud chassis the lights would not have been Hella type?so thought perhaps Hymer cover them I suppose easiest way will be call Hymer dealer to find out.

The headlight is field to the body with Allen keyed bolts around the surround of the headlight, yes I will be getting it to a dealer ASAP prob take it to Premier MHs as it is imported.
Might even use it as a reason to take it across to Dürrwang in Germany and make a trip out of it

you might not have to take it back..just call dealer and explain. then follow up wit email and photos. Unlike some :( Hymer dealers in The UK seem in the most part to honor the pan European warranty's on imports...

They all have problems to varying degrees..But its all about quality/length of warranty and how a company responds.:censored:

Well as I live in Cornwall its almost as far to go to TW as to Dortmund, but TW made it clear they would not do ANY work on a MH they did not sell when I told them their pricing and Euro conversion was away with the fairies compared to Euro dealers and with an attitude like that engaging with N+B to get them to force TW to do warranty work would be counter productive, bit like sending a meal back in a restaurant! Anyway when you go through a motor home the chassis and engine is covered by Iveco in my case, and a failed steering rack was replaced in days, most other major items are OEM supplied and covered by their warranties and I have been able to get solutions to the heating issues with Alde UK, I am still in a bit of a fog with my Dometic Tec Tower and its eratic cooling and have spoken with them directly. I am fortunate to have had 30 years of experience with large motor boats and my US RV which gives me some practical background to most of the systems and agreed with Ulrich that if parts were needed he would supply them for me or a UK company to fit with him picking up the bill. Hopefully the build quality is worthy of my faith?

We had much the same response from TW we were out on a trip and the water pump was not working they told me I would have to wait at least six weeks and did not even offer any advice luckily I was able to sort myself.
I have had response from Ulrich this morning he will send me the parts and I will get them fitted as yours.

You need to report Travelworld to Trading Standards - they are breaking the law. clear and simple.

In principle yes, but if they say OK we can do it in 6 weeks (as above) because we are busy, part unavailable etc etc what do you say. Or they do indeed do the job, see something else that a normal company would say we best fix that whilst we are at it, they say bugger that let him come back again. My whole prospective buying experience with them was one of discomfort and distrust, even a technical question could not be answered by their service manager, I could fill a page, so giving them my pride and joy to fix even if I did buy from them would be a difficult bridge to cross in any event.
