Hymer stabiliser query (1 Viewer)

Hi

Another newbie question I'm afraid. My Hymer 544 has Linnepe stabilisers for the rear of the motorhome. Unfortunately the instructions are all in german so I am not sure how to actually operate it without getting stuck! Has anyone got experience of using this system. If so an idiot's guide would be much appreciated

I have the manual version on my Hymer S700 1992.

To use you need a 17mm Spanner.

1. Undo the nut and the leg will slide out of the holder This is held by a pin through the foot.

2. Grip the leg and handle to swing it down. This will allow the leg to drop to the ground. Use a chock of wood under the leg if necessary.

3 use the spanner to turn the nut to set the leg solid.

To release undo the nut to remove the tension. Grip the leg and handle and press into release the ratchet. Slide up and swing into place then extend onto the locking pin. Use the spanner to tighten to prevent rattling.

These need to be kept clean and well greased to operate smoothly.
