Clicked on the link for the Hymer show on the forum nice vans but pricey, so looked on Moble.de to check prices and they were both the same at todays rates anyway RHD/LHD. I thought they were thousands cheaper in Germany.

The £ to Euros about £1 = 1.15 Euros.

When £1 = 1.40 Euros then there were some deals to be had.

You also have to bear in mind that some European dealers are happy to discount more than their uk counterparts!

I wanted to buy in Germany but feel that I have missed the boat this time due to the Brexit vote but I daresay it will improve in the future.

I have just order a new Hymer, got 10k more for my van as a trade in and new van 10k better than I could buy in UK.
Even with current exchange rates still far cheaper in Belgium or Germany.

@Lenny HB saved a a truck load too by buying in Europe - surprised he's not replied already.
Probably sat on a campsite somewhere, comparing pitch markers.

Nice one.:)
If you have a LHD to trade due to the higher trade ins not worth selling privately and it offsets exchange rate fluctuations.

On a loverly little camper stop right by the waters edge £11.75 inc EHU and fast WiFi but knackered after 7 hour walk. 9:30 and only just had dinner.
Did think about wandering up the road for dinner but we couldn't face more food with the contents of a salt mine on it.
