our new Hymer hab door doesn't shut with one close you then push it to shut properly. Should it be like that?

Jus off to pick it up from Vanbitz snd wondered if i needed to pop into the dealers on the way home.

Our Hymer isn't new, but every so often the metal prongs on the door work a bit loose and start to catch. We keep an eye on them and screw them in a bit when needed. I wouldn't expect to have to do that on a new van though.

If it's a problem, probably just needs the catch adjusted.... ours (not new) is the same.. it needs a good push..

but I prefer it like that, rather than have it rattling

Ours is new and shuts first time. Probably needs a tweak.

Some Hymer dust seals around the door seem prone to expansion when warm and this can cause the door to need more pressure to close.

Still doesn't seem right, i have to either bang it shut or give an extra push. I find it very hard to close from the insude. :-(. Hubby thinks i am making a mountain out of mole hill and that it is fine. Does anyone know which part of the catch has to be adjusted? Its a 2016 coach built.

Depending on the model they have different doors and from different manufacturers thats why i asked which door you have. Should be a label or marking on the door window also a photo would help
