Hi all just back from Germany with our new Hymer and doing the paperwork [paid HMRC online and they have accepted it without any paperwork proof ] now sent of paperwork to conformity people and waiting for that to come back ,then its DVLA so all going really well and simple at the moment, now for my question ,in the paperwork it says two 12v sockets in the hab area and I can only find one [in the cupboard next to the TV unit ,anyone know where the second one is supposed to be

started in a minivan 1970's when I could fit into it.
I have 3 ,one above the stove,one in the cupboard above the toilet wash basin and one in a tv unit cupboard with a slide down door.Great choice.:)(y)

I have 4 240v one in cupboard above sink one in cupboard by the side of the 12v one and two just above the double seat with seatbelts ,just wondered if the two above the double seat should have been one of each wqhich would have made more sence

That is the one I am hankering after to go to Germany and buy, I note the huge differences in the prices from UK but what is the total savings after the sodding about to get it on the uk register. I want the automatic one as well so it is a bit dearer but still a lot cheaper than here.

If you allow £2k that will more then easily cover getting the van and all the changes. in fact its a lot less but just a guide...the right dealer helps as they will do the changes for you and will not withhold the VAT

I am heading that way later in the year, when my other house is sold, that way I get a NEW van higher spec'd and cheaper. A Hymer for the cost of a Chausson over here. I will allow more and get the Autochange box, that way the wife MIGHT drive it as well. The fantasy buy for me would be the MLi version with the real autobox, listed here at £82000 + and 86000euro.
