We're looking at purchasing a used Hymer and the Eriba brand pops up occasionally. Can anyone shed any light on the significance of this Hymer brand e.g is it a premium brand? Also does anyone have any knowledge of the 632 model. Thank you

Eriba is their cheaper band often used to expand dealer networks in a country. Models mostly the same as the slightly cheaper CL's & Classic Hymer ranges. Unless it is the right price I would stick with the Hymer name as when time comes to sell it will be eaiser to move on.
I don't think they have sold Motorhomes under the Eriba brand for a few years.

Are you saying the CL's are even cheaper brand than the Eriba ?

I haven't seen an Eriba but I would say our 2009 552CL is excellent quality, and if thats the cheaper end of the Hymer brand I can't wait to an S or SL.

CL and Eriba models about the same level.
We had a Tramp SL now have an Exsis same trim level as a CL disappointed a bit after the SL but have a B class Dynamic Line on order.

Not sure that is right, the trim and finnish on our tramp cl554 is exactly the same as the tramp sl554. I have looked at both and they were the same. The only difference is the sl has a flat double floor throught out, whereas the cl double in places. The carado range i believe is the cheaper hymer brand.

The quality of cabinet work and fittings in the SL we had was far superior to the Cl's. ours was a 2008. Our current Exsis is the same as the current CL's and I think it is nowhere as good, one of the reasons we are changing.

Just had a look in my brochure yes same cabinets amd cheaper latches etc appear to have gone down market on the SL only real difference is the double floor. We never looked in any Tramps at Caravan Salon only the A Class vans.

I'm not trying to down them, the CL is very good for the price but the SL is not what it used to be.A lot of things have changed to keep weight and costs down. Even the B Class I've ordered has as standard the single latch habitation door I'm having to pay €400 for the twin latching Harkel door the SL I had, had a much heavier tripple latching door.
