Hymer clock battery (1 Viewer)

Hi All, When i bought my 1989 Hymer the round clock that is in the control panel above the sink did not have a battery in it.

Can anybody enlighten me as to what battery to buy?

never seen one but the size of the battery holder/compartment should give a clue...even if its got button cells :thumb:

Don't think they had button cells for clocks in 1989...

I have a similar clock in my 1987 Hymer and the battery is an odd size... My friend bought me a new one so they are obtainable... I will try to remember to check the actual size tomorrow and post it here for you...

Possibly on of those little 12v jobbies like used in alarm remote controls. I'm surprised there is no marking in the clock.

Should be an LR1 Battery [ also known as N Type or MN1900 ]. Duracell make them. Shops like Boots sell them.

My 1992 Hymer clock stopped working and I got one that fitted and looked fine off Ebay, look for "Clock insert".

I used to get them from ASDA. Keycutter tyype stores also have them they are quite common.
