can anyone help us we are looking for someone to fit the Hymer bed struts for us as we don't feel confident to do it ourselves.

I would give Edgehill Motorhomes a call. Family firm (Paul and Lee Broadhurst) that sells lots of Hymers and they are very knowledgeable and helpful. I expect they can do it for you, or will know someone who can.

I never realised that they were replaced this way, somehow thought spring compressors might be involved! Just been out and taken a look and they do seem fairly accessible sitting on the locating pins.

Did it myself, posted how to, JJ found it, how? I hav'nt a clue but it's here somewhere, JJ will show you the way he found it. It's easy to do yourself, took me, from memory, about 2 hours.
