Presumably there is some sort of aerial, perhaps amplified.
When I bought my Mhome last year , just as you , lousy radio reception, took it back to dealer and they found that 12v supply behind radio to aerial amp wasn't connected, sorted.
Mine's bolted low down to a chassis strut on the right (peering into bonnet orifice ) just inside at front...
Oh!.. and its crap too...
Lots of threads on here of what's needed... mostly elevation and grounding...
They are normally in the roof over the cab or in one of the A pillars. It may have have an amplifier has that been connected to 12v power ? If so there should be a small cable probably red by the aerial lead this should be connected to the Auto Aerial connection on the radio then it will be powered when the radio is on. Reception on our last van was fine an Exsis A Class, new van they have changed to an aerial on the roof to improve reception.
