Has anyone else heard that the B544 is being stopped ? I heard from a dealer they are not doing that layout next year :-(. Do you think it is true? Shocked as I thought it was popular.

They do but I was told this will be the last year :-(. I sent an email to Hymer to confirm it but no reply. We are not ready to buy for another 18 months. :-(

They'll hold their price even better than ever if its true. Hard enough to buy one now if I had the cash I'd go to Germany and buy a brand new one today. Best van on the market imo but not popular in Europe and thats the big market the UK market is tiny compared to Europe.

There market research is probably taking them down a different path then. They might put the format into a brand new model line like the dynamic?

If a range not selling they pull it...every manufacturer the same. these only really appeal to the UK preference for lounging space so not surprising IMO

I would do that as well, but just needed another year to release the money. Feel a little better knowing that at least there is the Frankia 640 and the Rapido 9048 DF if i cant get the B544.

Oh god that`s the second worst news of the year,

First was Autotrail winning 10 design awards in various classes, now they will just keep on churning out their motorhomes without any quality control.

Now a rumour that Swift have bought Hymer, so that`s the end of another quality motorhome.

The sad thing Jim is that in the various yachts we have owned over the years the bilges were dryer than most of the motorhomes.
It puzzles me how difficult a task these useless manufacturers find it is to keep water out of a motorhome.

We looked at a Frankia 640sd I think it was, nice van don't think it had as much space as a B544 but better bathroom.
Was a while ago so I might be wrong.
    Didnt Ash buy one?

Yes the bathroom in the Frankia is better, i think the lounge area is the sane size but it doesn't look as big because of the bathroom. The rapido has a nice bathroom.

Here you go pretty sure this is the model we looked at actually nicer looking than the Hymer as it doesn't have those terrible expensive headlights. This one's only 3500kg but they also do it at 4250kg. Only thing we'd do and same in the Hymer is remove the table and have a put up one. Really nice bathroom.

They are the only dealer in the UK, which makes warranty work awkward but very nice vans.
