My son and his family are moving to Paris soon and the nearest campsite to them is Huttopia Versaille. Has anyone pitched up there or does anyone know of another site in the vicinity?

Haven't stayed there but have stayed at the Bois de Bologne site. Was fine but you do need their shuttle bus to Metro Station . Is very near city center . And stayed at Paris Camping Beau Village. At but further out but near to RER station .

Same as above but worthwhile getting ACSI book as out of season you will save costs in one week.

We stayed there a few years ago. A lovely site, an easy walk to the train station, and a great cake shop on the corner.

I've stayed twice. Convenient for the bus to Versailles though it's a bit of a walk. Use ACSI. Pitches may not be level and don't expect grass. Free really good bag intended for recycling, still use it for my laundry after several years use.
