Hi, has anyone used the Hull-Zeebrugge crossing with their motorhome and if so, was it any good?
Thinking of using it to escape the hassle down Folkestone. On the plus side, it's only 50 mins drive from Sheffield, the negative part is the expence.
Thanks,
Lee.

Many times in many modes of transport, a great way to a good start to a holiday. Last year I was amazed how good the food was.

We have used it 3 times so far this year, and 2 more trips booked this year.
A great crossing, it's a shame it couldn't dock an hour earlier. It's an easy drive to Brugges and then straight onto the motorways.
We got some good deals by booking through the caravan club with Camping cheques.

But the real advantage is that SWMBO can do a days work the day we sail out, and then do a days work the day we return !!!

Since 2015.......
Took our car over to buy our Rapido in March. Went on line trying to go over with a car/2 adults, return with a car/motorhome/2 adults. Came to £600!!! With no meals....
Bugger that I thought so rang p&o direct. Ended up costing £410 with meals both ways :) and upgrade to a bigger bunk/ bed room.
33 miles from home so it's a yes from us .

We have used that and the Newcastle crossing a few times and no issues, check the price for the upgraded cabin as you normally get breakfast and mini bar included, with that included the room doesn't work out much more expensive and you get a proper double bed, sofa,TV and tea making facilities.

They have them for the wagons so depending who you ask there's a chance you'll get it.
