Not long enough, but a little common sense helps..........
Thanks for your reply, when I get the software done is it still worth fitting the Gold LNB

Regards

Simi

You should find a that the one fitted by the maker is as good as Gold LNB, as they are a good make of auto satellite.

Autumn Equinox effect on Satellites

Around this time of the year the autumn equinox effects what you can decode. The sun moves directly behind the satellites and swamps the signals for a few minutes in the morning across the EU. This is normal........

Also there have been many channels that have changed frequencies this last few days, as frequencies previously allocated to Eutelsat have been reallocated to Astra ( this could be better from some of you - depending where you are within the EU ) - although Sky and Freesat boxes should do these changes automatically (simply reboot your box should fix it ), users of other satellite receivers will have to perform a rescan of 28E ( Astra 1 (UK Channels ).

But changes to BBC and ITV and C4s etc... are expected later this year, once the new satellite has been positioned, tested, repositioned, retested and then finally transmitting UK TV channels. Then the fun begins.....
