All I want to do is download Skype, and maybe Soduko and suchlike.
Shows me the Apps, describes them, gives me reviews of the wretched things but no Download button.

Tried Googling it, all that happens is I get led to the Apple store Apps!!!!!

    Help, please........

If memory serves me right, you click on the price/"Free" button on the app description page...

You should have an icon for App Store on your iPad front page.

Click on that and open an account and it will be easy.

I presume it's the same icon arrangement as an iPad.

Thanks. Yes had the bit to get to the App Store but I expected to see "download" or "buy" . Didn't know to just hit Free and it'd go from there.
Knew I should have tried to do it with the 4 yr old nearby!!
Skype now works so can look for games etc...

Nice bit of kit. Let us know how you get on with it.

I was thinking of getting my Mum one for her birthday in May.

I started off with the Google one but it just died after a week.
As my daughter still has the original ipad she got when they first came out, still going strong & it's used daily, and friend has had Apples for years with no problems I swapped for a mini yesterday. Skype quality was excellent Uk to Cyprus call.
