Can anybody tell me how easy and how much it would cost to convert a 2013 Fiat 3.0L manual to automatic? That's if it's possible.
I have seen a Hymer Exsis manual for sale, ideally I would like an automatic hence the question,I think that ideally I should wait until I see the exact spec I want but if it is doable and not too expensive would consider this one.
there is more experience and knowledge on this forum than I have so I would like your opinion, please.

It is a £1.5k upgrade at point of order. To do retrospectively would be possibly double with labour

I wouldn't even entertain the idea, you would have to change everything from the flywheel to the wheels and probably the ECU as well. Add to that the new internal controls and the bill is adding up to many thousands. Sorry, it's just not worth it.

I would go further than that!

It is £1500 plus the price of a manual box for starters! That is a factory price of course.
I reckon retail for the box and all other ancillary parts, ie ECU, new lever, brake pedal, wiring looms, actuators etc, wouldn't be far off £6000.
Then simply add 15 hrs labour and you wouldn't be far off!
It would be interesting if the OP could price the job up, but that is my estimation based on known prices of similar stuff!

Not viable in my opinion, all that expenditure would not add anything to the value of the vehicle.

Thank you everybody who responded in such a short time span. This is certainly the right forum for good info and help. I think I already knew the answer when I posted the thread. I will wait for an auto with the right spec, once again many thanks for your help.

Try this is is cheaper than trying to change boxes.
Auto clutch enables you to change gear without using the clutch and is a product which enhance the usefulness of your manual transmission motorhome by adding the functionality of an automatic clutch system. The cost of the system fitted is (either with gear lever or foot switch) £1395 + vat Tel 077722 80057 / 01332 231589

It doesn't do it all for you like comfortmatic does it?
Mine decides itself when to change up or down.
Surely more a disabled conversion.
